As CEO of Ratio, a leading multi-screen digital agency, Nate Thompson helps lead organizations through the ever-changing landscape of online consumer experiences and digital business models. After founding Cosmix Interactive—one of Seattle’s first Interactive Agencies which he sold to USWeb in 1997—he continued to run the company’s consulting practice for the Northwest region, leading projects for Microsoft, Boeing, Starbucks, Egghead.com, Nordstrom, and other customers. In 2000, Nate left USWeb to co-found Free Rein, a professional services firm focused on wireless application development and web strategy.
He founded Cypress Consulting in 2001, growing it into a leading Northwest digital agency and development firm with Fortune 100 customers that include Adidas, Amazon.com, CBS, Disney, FOX Broadcasting Company, the National Basketball Association (NBA), Red Bull, Sony Pictures, Starbucks and Time Warner. In 2013 Cypress merged with Ratio Interactive to form Ratio, THE leading multi-screen digital agency. This move broadened its customer base to include AT&T, Condé Nast, Intel, Meredith, and NASDAQ to name a few.
Ratio has domain practices across all connected devices. It focuses on providing digital strategy consulting, design, development, and system integration services to clients to help them create innovative consumer-facing experiences across all screens. Ratio’s Xbox practice is considered one of the leading most mature in market.
